Weird Dreams

Pratters

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
In a lot of dreams, I face problems I have no answers to. Then, some one else finds intelligent solutions to those problems. Always find this fascinating as a few moments back in the dream, I didn't know what the solution would be. How could I have thought of that if I was not being able to think about it, as the person finding the solution is also part of my imagination.

What perfect timing for this thread to appear.

Last night for some reason I had hijacked a tank in my suburb and fired a shell into the night sky where I shot down a private jet that apparently belonged to John Farnham. A vague chase scene of me escaping the boys in blue occurs with many gaps in between then ensues. Then it cuts to me being in a car with two blokes I have never seen before and a cop car pulls us over. Soiling myself in fear of having a black mark on my record, I step out of the car and one cop says "Hey this ain't the one, the report said he was good looking." Right after that I woke up a minute before my alarm was to go off.

I had this dream during my childhood. I was alone in a completely dark abandoned hostel and was trying to find the exit. Before I could get to exit, I had a feeling something was following me and hid under a random bed in some dorm, few moments later some bright green shining creature resembling medusa was desperately searching for me. The features of that creature were so disturbing that even after some 15 odd years I could still remember that dream.

Had loads of nightmares recently, not quite sure why. Had a really vivid one recently in which a poster here I liked was really horribly attacked and injured. Not going to say who, because I do not want to send bad vibes or tempt fate. But it freaked me out a little.

I had one the other night that involved me driving home at night along a road I regularly take. I was at a stop sign waiting to turn down a hill, I start to move off but have to stop when I notice a black car driving down the hill with no lights. So I wait for it to pass, pull onto the road, and start driving. I accelerate pretty quickly, then notice that the black car has stopped in the middle of the road (somehow with no brake lights, but whatever, dream logic). Naturally, I swerve to avoid the collision...only to run over a drunk guy stumbling/dancing in the middle of the road. For some reason all of his friends are cheering, downing tinnies.

Freaked me the **** out tbh.

I can think of one particularly yellow reason.

I am having these lucid dreams or what they are called (mind out of the body) way too much recently. I talked to one of my closest friends about this and he suggested to see a doctor. I am not sure if I should see a specialist. Is frequent lucid dreaming bad? Does anyone know which specialist (psychiatrist may be?)to go for if it's any indication that something is wrong or bad about to happen inside me?

Are you having *** in these dreams? If yes, its not a problem, leave it alone.

Yeah, I don't know. I had a phase where I knew I was dreaming but I remember wanting to see where the dream goes. I would know for one moment that it was a dream but forget its a dream until another point in the dream. Heard you could gain more control over those dreams or something but yeah its been a while since it stopped.
