i'm really surprised with his performance. because he's more of a bowling allrounder.

there are 2 other lightning 50's in that game too, either crappy bowling or a small ground or a combination for mine rather than good batting.

If it's Twenty20 Cricket, isn't that the answer to the speed of it?
Yeah, the fact that it was a Twenty20 kinda cheapens it for me

yeah, sri lankan batsmen can't be that good can they?
but if an australian did it he would be the next OD superstar.
i really dont get it.

No, it's just you don't normally see three people hit 50's that fast. If it were an Australian I'm sure people would still be wondering the same thing.

One look at the man as well as how he has played would suggest otherwise. I can imagine Nuwan Zoysa pulling that off, but Weeratane? Maybe I haven't seen enough of him, but he looks small and thin- not quite someone you would expect to score such a fast 50.

Sorry, run that one past me again. I think I've missed something.

I was just playing your game. Tit for tat, seeing as you like taking the elitist attitude when it comes to Indian fans getting excited (rightfully so) about a future talent who singlehandedly won India the game.

Yeah, but Gilchrist doesn't look particularly burly either.
