With much regret, the CricketWeb Crusaders farewell Gaurav Nayak. A player with much potential, we here are sad to see him go. But unfortunately, to ensure that our squad is as strong as it can be in all positions, we need to make sacrifices. We wish Gaurav every success at the CricketWeb Scorpions.

And as a result, the CricketWeb Crusaders we welcome David Kennett to the fold. We hope that he can bring some intimidation to our, until now, undermanned pack.

We at CW Crusaders thank the players involved for being open-minded enough to engage in this trade. Good luck to both players in the forthcoming season.

CW Scorpions are very sad to see David Kennett move on to the Crusaders, but between poor form and injuries a lack of depth in the Scorpions backline was clearly showed up during the pre-season games. The inclusion of young flyer Gaurav Nayak will go along way to overcoming this lack of depth and make sure of a Successful CW Scorpions debut season.

In the short time David has been at the new Scorpions, he has been an onfield inspiration to us all. However, we must carry on, and with the inclusion on Nayak, there are all hopes that he will be able to gel with the rest of the team and be in contention for a starting XIII spot.
