Australia winning this World Cup just shows how random this format is and anyone can win on their day. You had Australia losing their last 5 t20 series and taking this title out. Even a team like West Indies got a poor t20 record but have won two world cups. Just goes to show we rarely get full strength teams facing each other off in bilateral series and everyone stacks their best team during a World Cup. They could honestly just make it as t20 only as franchise cricket and the World Cup. Hardly any teams take international t20 seriously till the world cups come along
