BARNES OUT
I was going to give Hart a mention just because of his dismal batting ability.
When it comes to best ever wicket-keeper batsmen,Andy Flower beats them all by miles.Arjun said:All these so-called wicketkeeper batsmen are awful. In a bid to get their own Adam Gilchrist, every international side has dropped its best wicketkeeper and rought in some bits-and-pieces excuse who's totally useless. When you talk about wicketkeeper-batsmen, it's Adam Gilchrist followed by the rest, a long way back.

Nah, Gilly comes first for me, then Flower a bit behind, then the pack, and then the modern age crap, along with the specialist keeper age.Shoaib said:When it comes to best ever wicket-keeper batsmen,Andy Flower beats them all by miles.
I decided to very kindly correct that for youage_master said:he kapt for Yorks for years didn't he? **** me! He was THAT bad?!
As a wicket keeper alone, yes. He would be high on any such list but as a batsman he was pretty good you know.Hazza said:I'd have to agree with Patel.

Kaarthick is a good keeper, juz that his batting leaves a lot to be desired. But he has heaps of potential, even as a batsman. He is just too impetuous really. Looks to drive every pitched up outswinger... Hopefully for India's sake, he can get his batting right, because as a keeper, he is the best amongst the ones tried for India for a number of years now.Mike Hussey said:Partiv Patel, or maybe Karthick, and maybe Geraint Jones.
