The worst ever wicket keeper batsman in tests

All these so-called wicketkeeper batsmen are awful. In a bid to get their own Adam Gilchrist, every international side has dropped its best wicketkeeper and rought in some bits-and-pieces excuse who's totally useless. When you talk about wicketkeeper-batsmen, it's Adam Gilchrist followed by the rest, a long way back.

Worse international wicket keeper batsman I have ever seen has to be Sameer Dighe.

Nah, Gilly comes first for me, then Flower a bit behind, then the pack, and then the modern age crap, along with the specialist keeper age.

I'd have to agree with Patel.
As a wicket keeper alone, yes. He would be high on any such list but as a batsman he was pretty good you know.

Well is this thread for for keepers or batting?
Search me

Someone listed Herbert Strudwick by every yardstick one of the greatest EVER wicket keepers in the history of the game. I suppose they compared his batting average with Gilchrists :p

WE NEED CLARIFICATIONS !!!

Robbie Hart was ok with the bat. He could be a useful guy to send out and bat for a few hours to eliminate time.

Keeping wise, he was one of the best keepers in NZ for some years.

Partiv Patel, or maybe Karthick, and maybe Geraint Jones.
Kaarthick is a good keeper, juz that his batting leaves a lot to be desired. But he has heaps of potential, even as a batsman. He is just too impetuous really. Looks to drive every pitched up outswinger... Hopefully for India's sake, he can get his batting right, because as a keeper, he is the best amongst the ones tried for India for a number of years now.
