From the above link: "So, just to restate for clarity: The Don Bradman Index gives a score of how good somebody is, relative to Don Bradman. If they get 70, then they are effectively 70% as a good a batsman as the Don. If they get 110, they're better than him. The specific purpose of this tool is to allow us to compare how good a batsman is relative to his bowlers (so a batsman who averages 50 against bowlers of average 35 will be ranked the same as a batsman who averages 45 against bowlers of average 30),"
