Thanks. Surprised it's that many more with Bumrah & Rabada (although appreciate it wasn't for long at the end of 2024) having the top spot in these 4 years or so since that was done. Not sure if Jimmy or anyone else has had it since.

Lyon vs Benaud on bowling alone is really close for mine. Benaud clearly ahead overall.

I guess pure average is too big a part of the formula for it to be kind to Warne. He'd also have a higher proportion of lower order wickets that the formula doesn't like.

If people were uncomfortable with Grace, Worrell could perhaps be an alternate. Can’t think of another of the top of my head rn.

Warne for Ashwin, Marshall/Wasim/Procter for Miller (though don't mind Miller as well) and Hobbs for Simpson, and think you definitely you could pass it as a World XI without any caveats.
