Obama won the debate for me, but was assisted pretty well by a clearly biased moderator speaking from the outside.

Along with that he got 3 and a half minutes more speaking time, and questions geared towards democratic issues or against Romney except 2/3.

So when you can't win the debate, accuse the moderator. I hear similar comments were made against the Moderator for VP debate.

Yet another hit by Greenwald. Shocking.

How can you pressure someone to vote for a specific person? It seems it'd be much more likely to backfire.
Well yeah, in theory they can just lie about it. But the power imbalance makes it difficult for a lot of people. Yes, there will be people who initially react against it or just don't believe it but pressure like this is a subtle thing which can take some time to really take hold; some just won't be able to lie, some will honestly think their jobs are in danger so will toe the line and encourage/bully others to do the same*, some will just feel trapped because they need the job in a ****ty economy and will toe the line too. It actually takes quite a strong personality to resist the will of the boss.

It's what makes workplace bullying so disgusting. By definition, They're playing with their worker's livelihoods, a really special kind of abuse. These pricks, these utterly cynical, parasitical pigs are doing this to serve a purpose which has nothing to do with the welfare of their workers; their jobs probably are in danger as, even if Romney wins, the decision to outsource East has probably already been made.
