Australia did better in England than India did. Aus also performed a lot better in their last overseas series than India did. I don't think it is a clincher or anything but the relevant points seem to have come from these results. I don't think you can argue with an objective ranking system based on whether the results suit you or not. Congrats Australia and NZ for moving to the top 2.
