picked this kid up for 1k. Should be a fun project player. Only issue is getting him close to his potentials without coaching
He has got the stamina to bat and bowl regularly so that is handy - the fielding is a thumbs down (you can't have everything for 1k!) , but the batting is nicely spread - knowing you - youll probably sell him for 200k next season as well! :)

How do you deal with the Accuracy?

No idea. Hence the project. Want to see how an extreme rocks or diamonds player will pan out

I've had similar players before but none this extreme. Usually lots of runs but manage to take wickets.

Accuracy is irrelevant... that just gives you a high BQ which does not help at all!!
I could sell him to you for 50k if you'd like

You are being tongue in cheek here right - in regards your BQ issue!

I guess if you are inaccurate you bowl a lot of wides and no balls and it doesnt go where you planned BUT that only adds to the mystery of your movement and variations to bamboozel the batter?

Anyway will love to hear about your experiences of this chap Z!

The Stumped Gods do not like me - I have lost a top of the table DEV clash with Charminster CC - losing by 1 wicket with 4 deliveries left v Kalinga Knights - https://www.stumpedgame.com/Scorecard.php?Match=1627779.

Top of the table clash for Winton CC v The Wild Geese is ongoing - https://www.stumpedgame.com/Scorecard.php?Match=1641331
Perhaps GG can do you a big favour - as for our match it is very much unknown at this stage- i was really hoping and then half way through expecting 240 - now we will be lucky to make 200 - that is a 50/50 shot at best against your quality batting team

De Beers blocking for 6 balls so that Polamreddy can then take a single off the first ball of the next over is not the most fruitful of returns!!

Just breached 200 - 202/9 - bit iffy about our batting at times but hoping signing of Ward Alleyne from AAs will strenghten our lower order batting a tad especially with Woodford now above 21. Which reminds me - I'll be listing him in a minute

More pain, needing 1 run off 11 balls with 3 wickets to spare - we proceed to tie the game!

Congrats on your very likely title @Charlie B - if nothing else should hopefully be another interesting DEV season next year with Winton CC if we've still got a couple of CW teams in it. Although will be a lot less competitive with our end of season sale.

Snared international New Zealander Nick Smith (the unfortunate namesake of a politician) for $1.5 million. 23yo 13-12-19 bat - on paper, the best player I've ever had by far. He'll debut against ZCC in a few hours, where his 17 touch might be more than handy!

It's an age of change for AXI after a boringly stable side since Smit went; four players are aging out of Dev next season (Kotze, Saadi, Chambers, Simmonds), and older senior spinners Waters and Daly finding their spots under pressure.

I now have four aggressive specialist bats. One of Murdoch, Frost, and Branning - all in the top 6 club run-scorers - will have to go. Rusty is still pivotal to the T20 side and can bowl (though he's really only a part-timer now; despite most of his career as a bowling AR in SOD), Murdoch has been low-key good this season (for once), and Branning's almost 28 so it looks like he's going. Has played many, many tremendous knocks for the club.

Hi Guys - just reading Ataraxias last message - and id like to touch on Touch! I have a guy at 16 touch at the moment and I have really noticed how well he is playing - not just run quantity but the speed of them. Do you notice much difference / correlation with touch ? how much note do you take of it and would you play a bat with actuals of 34 and touch of 16 instead of one of 39 with touch of 6 ? (assuming everything else is pretty similar/equal)?

The 39 bat, probably. It's definitely worth more consideration than at least I currently give it, but yeah I don't think that sort of difference can really readily be overcome.

The difficulty or pleasure of course is that there are so many variables that impact one player in a match let alone across all 22!

- I'm no maths genius but when you have so many variations it is difficult to say - oh yeah thats down to touch that is!! so then you kinda play safe and your first port of call as Jarquis said is SS

- It is one reason i dont really play many friendlies (outside of just - that if i do play a match i want to give it my full attention and i just could not keep up with more than the 6 matches a week now played plus our competitive CWC matches)

I'm in 2 minds about how much info DEV give away about how things tick - it is interesting to know more - but then if everyone knows I guess it dumbs down the complexity of the game to my level and is a disadvantage and unfairness to those who have sweat blood to learn and understand these things

Great Picton-Warwick sloggy partnership here to drag us to what looks like will be a good total (235 hopefully) against Charminster's strong bowling attack.

Don't think a second-string AX-W dev attack will be enough to stop Milbank & co. chasing it down though.

so, er, yes, 22-ball 50 for Ramsey and Charminster are 115-0 (10).

I might just focus upon Warwick's captain's knock of 88 (60), his third consecutive fifty, rightly timed too considering AX-W's squad will soon be cut down.

Sorry had been meaning to play a rotated XI - I had wanted to see how a couple of my youngsters done but your bowling attack has fought back well from 127/0 after 11.5 overs. Feels like the openers are like 60% of my batting, Fairhurst another 25% or so and hoping and wishing for the other 15% to come off. A homegrown franchise if not mistaken? Was going to say might be better potenital players than Warwick but a lot harder if doing it homegrown.
