Hadlee never bowled to a decent SL batting lineup, still being excellent, I doubt he could average 15 against a modern SL side. Herath on otherhand, had destroyed modern NZ batting lineups on home soil.
let's play "guess the players in home of the opposition"

4 matches, 19 wickets @ 15
4 matches, 17 wickets @ 18
4 matches, 8 wickets @ 64

The first 2 will be Boult and Southee (or vv)
Is the 3rd Herath?

Edit: 3 out of 3 Lol

Vettori averaged 30 with the bat (about his regular batting average) in SL but 26 with the ball.

Meanwhile Tom Latham turns into Jack Hobbs when facing SL.
