This is the CPL right? SCC, keep an eye on the availability of the players too when you are doing the contracts and stuff.
I'm sure it is. Due to copyrights and all other BS, the creators of this game must have deviated from calling it the CPL.

Yes, I will be looking out for that.

Guptill's been useful, though hasn't attracted NZ eyes to the thread
More useful than I expected. Good chemistry with Chadwick.

I'm certain a lot of NZ's eyes have visited the thread without uttering a word the same way a girl watches your story on instagram without ever replying.

Add to that the amount of NZ players we have come across:

Brendan McCullum
Colin Munro
Jesse Ryder

And we haven't played Barbados or Jamaica yet, there might be more Kiwis: Ross Taylor, Kane, Neesham

The next match up is on August 17th, 2017 and it's a home game against Jamaica. Jamaica are currently in 5th place in the standings.
The training remains the same for those who have coaching sessions, but Sohail Tanvir has booked a physio session which means that Babar will not longer receive any.

Conditions:
Light- very good
Bounce- good
Wear- average
Outfield- average

Guptill and Tanvir gets a rest. Local boy Fudadin comes in the opener's slot for Guptill; Ali Khan replaces Tanvir. Veerasammy Permaul gets the captaincy in front of the home crowd:

1. Assad Fudadin
2. Walton
3. Hetmyer
4. Babar
5. Katwaroo +
6. Primus
7. Steven Jacobs
8. Rashid
9. Emrit
10. Ali Khan
11. Permaul (c)

Roshon's Domination, Jamaicans Collapse

It was one of the greatest spells of bowling in a T20 match. Guyana's medium pacer Roshon Primus bagged a miserly 6 wickets for only 2 runs as Jamaica crumbled to 60 all in pursuit of 123.

Winning the toss and batting first, Fudadin who came into the squad for Guptill made use of his opportunity as he top-scored for Guyana with 25 off 21 balls. Runs were hard to come by on a traditional Providence surface as the Jamaican bowlers took wickets at regular intervals. Babar Azam showed how hard this wicket was to bat on as he labored to 21 off 31 balls. Steven Jacobs, the local boy gave the innings an impetus in the death overs as 27 came in the last 5 overs. He finished on 23 off 16 balls. Jamaica's Gary Mathurin with figures of 3 for 19 off his 4 overs, and Imad Wasim with 2 for 22.

Jamaica in reply raced to 27 in 4 overs with Kumar Sangakkara in prime form. He was flummoxed by an Ali Khan slower delivery and that triggered a collapse of epic proportions. Primus, used sparingly by full-time captain Guptill, was used as a weapon by captain for this game, Veerasammy Permaul. Primus bowled on a good length and used clever change of pace. He struck in his first over, followed by a double wicket maiden in his second over. In his third over, he took the wicket of Sami, and finished off his spell with another double wicket maiden.

Walton and Emrit join Primus celebrating the loss of a wicket

Summarized scores: Guyana- 122/8 in 20 overs (Fudadin 25, Jacobs 23; Mathurin 3-19, Imad 2-22) beat Jamaica- 60 all out in 12.2 overs (Sangakkara 20, Lewis 17; Primus 6-2, Ali Khan 2-25) by 62 runs

Points: Guyana-2 Jamaica-0

Calling Roshon Primus a medium pacer is harsh AF

Ambling run up but can get it through at a decent clip from a slingy, shoulder reliant bowling action
