Didn't really struggle more than most of the others, but sadly that's not a compliment. Having played no cricket prior to the series can't have helped. May not get his spot back.

Crawley - 3
Had that one nice knock against the quicks, but completely lost against the spinners and showed no signs of improvement.

Sibley - 4
Started the series well, but didn't get going again after that.

Lawrence - 5
Failed at 3, played nicely in defeat down at 7. If he's to make the team in the summer he probably needs to bat at 3.

Root - 7
Disappointing after the first Test, but winning a Test away in India is a rare thing and we won one because of Root.

Bairstow - 00

Pope - 4
Fought hard but looked out of his depth against the Indian spinners.

Stokes - 5
Struggled with the bat and underbowled until his fine efforts with the ball in the 4th Test.

Buttler - 7 I guess
Played alright then got sent home.

Foakes - 6
Kept nicely. Looked more likely to score runs than most of the players above him, without actually achieving that.

Ali - 6
A mix of awful and sublime with bat and ball crammed into a single Test.

Bess - 1
Got wickets while bowling badly in India's first innings of the series. After that, didn't get wickets while bowling badly.

Leach - 7.5
Bowled nicely.

Anderson - 7.5
Luckily it was cloudy I guess.

Broad - 4

Played one great, match winning knock and always contributed. Best batsman on show.

Gill - 3
Had a good tour of Australia.

Pujara - 3
IPL $$$ has gone to his head.

Kohli - 4
Dispelled Sunilz' theory that he is an atg bat but a panauti captain, as he captained a comfortable series win while contributing very little personally.

Rahane - 4
Caught well in the slips. Should have given Bairstow a shirt.

Pant - 9
Such a fun cricketer.

Ashwin - 9.5
Played alright.

Axar - 9.5
Ability to sometimes bowl deliveries that didn't turn much proved h4x.

Sundar - 7
3 spinner strategy worked a treat.

Ishant - 7
Everyone acknowledges that he's Actually Good now, right?

Bumrah - 6
First tour of India is always tough for fast bowlers, but came through it well.

Siraj - 7
Upset Sundar's Dad. But a good bowler.

Nadeem - 2
During a season in which Axar and Embuldeniya took a combined 1 million England wickets at about 10 apiece, it feels somehow an achievement that he appeared so unthreatening while bowling SLA at the same line up.

Kuldeep - 4
I know he played, but I literally can't remember anything he did.

Ravi Jadeja - 10

Well you will see Kohli's captaincy in WTC final and tear your hair.
He is guaranteed to lose toss because he is a Panauti.

Should look into his calls. If you always call heads, you should eventually win some on average/probability
Wouldn't be surprised if he switches between heas and tails in random much like his lineups
