Root's never made a ****ing hundred in Australia. He's not fit to carry the jockstraps of about 20 blokes who've played in the past 30 years. He's not worth a squirt of piss here, and it's the biggest series England plays.
You don't like Root's face or what?

No one does, because it's so punch-able, but that's not the point.

He's a non-event here, it counts against him massively. He's had multiple chances to stand up and do something here, and he's failed to deliver. You aren't in the top ten or even 20 test players of the past 30 years if you play 14 tests in Australia during the time span of his career and have his record. He's not even shown signs of improving when he's toured here. Even Ian Bell got better here as his career rolled on. Ponting was utter shite in India but he made a ton in his next-to-last series and 3 x 50s in his last. At least there were signs of life. Root is abject.

FMD the conditions in Aus over his career save arguably the last series he played were hardly bad for batting. And the sides he's played against haven't exactly been vintage outfits either.

He just dabs away mindlessly outside off looking for something to third man because it works in England and on slower decks elsewhere, with zero regard for there being a bit of bounce, and nicks off without a whimper every time. It's woeful from a so-called world class player let alone one with delusions of being in the top 5 or 10 of the past 30 years. In the top ten of racist or at best racist-adjacent ****wits though.

Maybe he doesn't like flat tracks and prefer something more challenging.

Also wtf about the last line? What did he do?

Cashing in on flat pitches and against poor opponents are important and underrated skills for a batsman to have.
Root isn't quite as good at that as the other 'Fab 4' players but he still has high averages against teams like Sri Lanka and West Indies. Loads of big hundreds suggests cash-in ability too. Generally speaking, every great player who ever lived is pretty good at cashing in.
