yeah wasn’t van der dussen the deputy of Bavuma at province cricket? i’m not usually a fan of making overseas players captains when overseas spots are limited unless they are exceptionally good at being a captain

Great to see faf get the first sa20 100.

I find it extremely irritating hearing boucher sing faf's praises when he is one of the main reasons faf missed out on two t20 wc's....

This break in the middle of the SA20 is truly stupid.... has lost all momentum and excitement that had been built. All to play a bunch of rather meaningless ODIs... which are not going to be well attended from the looks of things. Again CSA shooting themselves in the foot just when you think they got one right.

For SA they aren't meaningless. Rather important in terms of WC qualification. This is the tour that got canceled cause of the covid scare.

This mid tournament interruption won't happen going forward but they had to fit these games in.

They playing in Bloem, could have still continued the SA20 competition... and while it is important for us to try win three games. It more about embarrassment in having to go through qualifiers. We forfeited the Aus tour can't be that important.

Not sure SA playing England with temba and 10 others would work. No chance the team owners would be happy with SA players getting pulled from SA20.
