State Vice-Captain
Toronto Tigers - Spofforth back in for Goddard (who didn't bolster the batting as intended) as we try to complete an unbeaten 1st phase of the competition. A few order shifts too - Pollock stays at 4 after he finally made a score having dropped from 3 last week; Martin Crowe has a go at number 3.

1. D Nourse
2. G Chappell
3. M Crowe
4. G Pollock *
5. T Dexter
6. A Kallicharran
7. S Pollock
8. F Engineer +
9. A Davidson

Just a reminder - as per my e-mail to Marc - that I'm now on holiday until Saturday the 18th, so won't be able to post in either the next ODI or Test rounds (unless the tests are delayed prior to the next phase starting).

Renamed team, thanks to Warne's injury. (Grr)

That said, it's given me the chance to strengthen the batting a touch.

There's a first time for everything - you're a bit overconfident IMO.
You seem very confident that you're more likely to beat Toronto than I am to beat Lahore.
Our teams have been level in Tests and Toronto are a better team than Lahore.

You do the maths.

I'm confident - but not over-confident. Toronto are the best team, but I reckon they're beatable.
