The normal awards that everyone else has
Red Hill CC

Graeme Smith ^ *
Chetan Chauhan
Viv Richards ^
Frank Woolley ^ 6
Colin Cowdrey ^
Gary Sobers ^ 5
Ian Healy +
Dan Vettori 4
Heath Streak 3
Wasim Akram 2
Curtly Ambrose 1

In the end, one of the best sides I think I've ever drafted. Very happy with the batting, and happy with the players I used for the lesser averages especially. Woolley was an out and out star of his time, and Chauhan was a very good opener who always did the job for India in conjunction with Sunny, in spite of a relatively low average. The cream in the top 6 is obviously Smith as an opener, one of the ATGs, Viv at 3, Woolley at 4, the class and poise of Cowdrey at 5, then the absolute genius of Sobers at 6. Batting deep with Vettori, Healy, Streak and Wasim all proven as century makers, we bat all the way to 10.

The bowling attack is led by Curtly and Wasim, and a better new ball pairing I cant imagine. Complimentary in styles, a right and left armer, both aggressive and highly skilled, opening the batting against them would be a daunting thing. Streak provides the grunt work along with plenty of skill, Vettori will ensure there is no respite as the spinner, and Sobers and Woolley can both also provide both spin and pace options as required.

In terms of fielding, we are elite. While both Sobers and Viv can be handy in the slips, they'll patrol the gully, cover or mid wicket areas as Smith, Woolley and Cowdrey are all elite slippers also. Healy is the best pure keeper I've seen, and both Streak and Wasim were very good in the outfield with rocket arms both.
