One of the best ODI's, England Vs West Indies 1986

Noble One

International Vice-Captain
Looks like a fantastic game. Incredible, the 3rd wicket partnership for West Indies scored 117 runs off 9 overs.

Himannv

International Coach
Richards, 82 from 39 balls, wow!! Certainly looks like Best messed it up for West Indies there.

Can't believe W Slack died in 1989. he looked like a good player, why did he only play 2 ODI's?
In those days, the oneday side was virtually the same as the test side, apart from maybe an extra all-rounder or two. Slack didn't feature in the test side after touring WI in 1986, so that was that really. As you indicated, his early death was a terrible tragedy.
