Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
I'd like to start up two new simultaneous drafts. A 50 over world cup winners draft and a 50 over world cup losers draft.
This thread is for the losers draft. The rules of this draft are as follows:
The first ten rounds will be up and down randomised order (The order is randomised for the first round and then run in reverse for the next).
Players who are eligible MUST have played in a one day cricket world cup final in which their side lost. Kane Williamson is eligible while Joe Root is NOT eligible.
You must pick your wicket keeper from an eligible wicket keeper who actually kept wicket in the final.
I am limiting this to a maximum of 8 people for this draft. We will begin when 8 people have signed up.
You must also have 5 bowlers who bowled a minimum of one over in a losing world cup final. It does not matter if they are all rounders or specialists.
Each player is only eligible once, even if they have played in multiple world cup losses (e.g. Williamson).
Teams will be judged on the entirety of the player's careers with no special weighting for world cup performances beyond your normal weighting (whatever that may be).
You have 12 hours after the previous draftee to make your choice. After that time the next player is up.
