Seriously, if I had to choose one, I'd go for Yusuf.

What was the deal with India's opening partnership? Why are they playing ****-scared cricket?
They are **** and are scared of losing non existent spots.

Awesome win for Zim. Really chuffed. Ind is basically a three men show, Raina, Kohli and Sharma. If they score they stand a chance. The rest just makes up the numbers.

Club class pace bowlers. Absolute ****s, go on select more based on stupid IPL. You've principles not to send even a C team for Asian Games but have the balls to screw up odi rankings by sending Z grade stuff to Such tours.

So, I guess I'll be the first to ask. What makes people think this Zimbabwe should be below Bangladesh in the test cricket pecking order?

I'd say something about seeing how they go in a test on a pitch that doesn't suit a legion of spin bowlers. But Bangladesh haven't been too flash in terms of pace bowling either.

I love to see Sean Ervine returning to this Zim side. Blignaut, Ervine, Chigambura and Mpofu will form a useful fast medium attack that is better than that of Bangladeshis. Sean Ervine is in hot batting form as well. If Blignaut gets in to his fitness levels that was there 4- 5 years back, when he was bowling 90mph+ stuff, ZIM will be a force to reckon with. A line up of Masakadza, Taylor, Taibu, S. Ervine, C. Ervine, Coventry, Chigambura, Blignaut, Utseya, Price and Mpofu could beat BAN any day IMO.

Ervine's very much a pie-chucker these days. Always has been to a certain extent but it's even more pronounced now that he's a part-time bowler. He'd get a trundle for Zimbabwe but he wouldn't be very effective. Good bat though.

If they started playing Tests again, Rainsford would get picked. Comfortably the best seamer they have but has no-ball issues which can make him a bit of a liability in one day cricket; he also struggles to control the new white ball at times and given Zimbabwe generally only pick one specialist fast bowler it's not like he could bowl first or second change.

Ive always liked Rainsford. I maybe being unfair on Martin but I always put Martin and Rainsford together in my mind. Guys with a lot going on and some gas but not quite enough to look the business at Test level.

Shame to see Blignaut reduced to a medium paced trundler. Use to enjoy watching him bowl gun barrel straight 145kph half volleys.

Awesome though for Zim. :)

ok i am watching the highlight of the indian vs. Zimbabwe match in ten sports..

who is that buzz kill commentator? He has to be one of the worst one i have heard.. no voice, u can barely hear him talking.. he commentated with Tony Graig.. what a combination; a loud mouth and a buzz killing..

Zimbabwe are good side at home, it's just that nobody goes over there except Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Strong Batting + a good twin headed Spin attack of Price and Utseya.

I'd like to see Andy coach them after the Ashes or World Cup

You are being far to generous.

Agreed. You can't use the word 'good' that lightly. Great is already overused.

If good is too, we're in trouble.
