I'm trying to think if I've actually seen anyone take a slip catch whilst wearing a helmet? It would appear that it's not easy.

I'm sure it happened in a test series between you guys and us in Durban or CT. Don't know why I vaguely remember that 😂 might have been that test match where we had you 9-down in CT and Onions survived for the draw. Pitch was slow and low as hell on day 5.

Whatever it takes!!!
I seem to remember England doing that a lot or something? have a really close second slip with the helmet on. Was it in Pakistan?

Intent's a bit of a bad buzz word but I think if there's one side you want to do it against it's Australia; when in a rhythm they look unstoppable but disrupt it and you do have some genuine chances of making an impact. South Africa have batted quite well thus far (admittedly on a pretty flat deck) which has helped.

Pitch does seem to be getting a fair bit of inconsistent bounce though and looks quite dry so the third session will be very interesting. Has been a really enthralling contest thus far.

It's an enthralling contest from a neutral point of view. Expecting supporters of both teams to be on the edge from here on in.
South Africa have just nudged into slight favs at the tea break.

Bavuma is back out there but he is still limping, he shouldn't be taking too many quick singles.

There is no need for quick singles when there are over two days left.
