Did it easily in the end! Great knock from Mariko, good cameos all around her.

If we bowl less extras and take our chances, I fancy us to topple UAE too. Big game tomorrow.

Fun stat from today:
HK bowled 19 wides in their 20 overs
The other 3 teams playing today combined for 18 wides in 58 overs lol

Difficult game vs UAE here.

Too many extras again. 16 wides and a bye. 12 wide balls, so 4 runs + the bye due to keeper errors. Some misfields as well, and the keeper missed 2 catches too. Sloppy, basics not right.

And then Mariko Hill not opening, which is surprising given she was top scorer and POTM yesterday.

Looks like we'll need a miracle here, otherwise that's the end of our qualifying campaign. UAE well ahead now.

Really good by Kary and Mariko, but you feel it's them or bust. 85/3 in 15, UAE were 86/3 at this point.

These two are the core of this side, I'm not sure if our batting to come can finish the chase off. UAE have only bowled the 3 wides so far, if we lose this game...

What would our team be without Kary and Mariko. Both of them to the rescue again - 0/2 in the first over chasing 102 vs Malaysia, and now we're 69/2 in 11.3

Fantastic, one of my favourite Women's players, glad she's back, missed her in the WBBL.
Hoping she makes a successful International return in the next few months.

Heather Graham is an actress who came to prominence playing "rollergirl" in Boogie Nights", someone of her name also plays for Perth Scorchers, and has played a starring role in just winning the WBBL, bit of a damp squib really.

Kapp and King were fun.
