FMD Henry's seam position is abysmal. You don't mind seeing the odd cross seamer or wobble seamer as a variation but his is just all over the show.
:(

His seam position used to be good, not perfect like a good swing bowler's, but still good enough to get seam movement from a good length.

Probably why he struggles to get a game. A lot was said over Henry having a half decent game against SA earlier this year.. He's averaging almost 50 in Tests currently. I think the selection was based on him being in the squad for so long without playing TBH, they feel he deserves a chance.

I really think NZ have missed a trick without Fergo.

Have to agree re Ferguson, our attack just all too often feels a bit the same, no one with that extra zip.

The other unfortunate thing about Henry is that he's always been noticeably worse against left handers.

WI would be very very pleased with this start. They'll back their middle order to score big runs against the older ball.

Wagner so good with that short stuff, though I'd still like to see him using it as a bit more of a surprise option rather than a stock ball.

Good move bringing Boult straight back on following the wicket. Henry disappointing in his second spell after largely bowling decently in his first, too short and went searching a bit.

Pitch looks so green, yet doesn't seem to be aiding the bowlers at all.

Bring on SatNav.

Mark Richardson with the first commentary gaff of the summer, banging on about Hetmeyer sliding his back foot while it was Powell on strike for the over. Clever bunch our lot.

Deserved wicket for Boult, has bowled well considering the complete lack of swing.

Batsmen around the world unable to play the short ball these days it seems. All hail king of the short ball WAG!
