So the interim committee is running into problems trying to expand the game into the provinces (where the good players are) by Colombo club officials, currently if you want a cricket career you have to move to Colombo to play club cricket, would be nice if SL could be like the rest of the world where decent opportunities are available around the country and the talent isn't limited to talented school boys and winners of fast bowling speed competitions.

Just read that Graham Ford may have been approached by SLC with a view to returning for a second stin as coach? Apparently Marvans contract expires next yr but there is an opt out clause from September..not sure if this is good or not personally, he is a good coach but he has shown before that he will leave us in the lurch earn he gets a better offer...thoughts?
