What is our structure at the moment ?

SA Head coach : Mark Boucher
High Performance batting & bowling : Neil McKenzie and Vinnie Barnes
SA A & Academy Coach : Malibongwe Maketa
SA U19 Coach : Shukri Conrad

Titans : Malibongwe Maketa (Geoffrey Toyana)
Lions : Wandil Gwavu (Assistant?)
Knights : Allan Donald (JP Triegaardt)
Dolphins : Imraan Khan (Quinton Friend)
Warriors : Robin Peterson (Assistant ?)
Cobras : Ashwell Prince (Faeik Davids)

Think Paul Adams (WP) & Piet Botha (EP) are the only provincial coaches that have been franchise coaches ?
The most up-and-coming coach is Richard Das Neves at Easterns who may have been promoted to Titans now.

Considering all the coaching talent we've lost and where we have been. It does seem to be getting better. So lets hope guys like Budaza can get a better education from earlier again.
This is a big improvement. But it is the lower levels as well. There is a reason why cricket dynasties exist, lots of that is having an uncle/father etc to help give good advice. You wonder how much Ntini Sr helped out Ntini Jr. Not all make it but gives best opportunity.

All SA cricket long term issues can be resolved by making sure that the basic school and club structures are functioning properly and getting the best out of the all the talented kids and youngsters.

Really come out of a knowhere recently... take the place of Philander?
Hopefully he can continue this form because I think he has had injuries but also think he was poorly treated at the Lions to not get game time. He left the Titans thinking he would play but balance didn't allow it.

There is a lot to like. Might not be overly quick because of the injuries but if you consistent with bounce and skill it is a good base.

Perfectly summed up mate. Just wish people at CSA realised this is where the true work must be done to reap the rewards.

Talking of Ntini Jnr. Grant Thomson awarding him his baggy blue.

So badly want a Breetzke 100 here. It will continue his good start to the season and set things up nicely for him going to the next level in red-ball cricket. I've felt he has been working hard and last season he seemed to progress without dominating the competition. So nice to see such a free-flowing 50.

Zubayr unfortunately not cashing in like Markram did.

And it is no surprise to see Pieter Malan L B W - he is a walking LBW

I notice Qeshile has got the gloves again and it is bringing good luck. Come on boy you can do it.

Dendarii

International Debutant
Ah no. :( The pressure may very well have got to him. Hopefully all he needs is to get that first century under his belt, and he probably could have done with better support today.

So sad. A 97 & a 99 now.
He also has another 90 odd not out.. run out of partners at least two other times., if I remember correctly? Needs to maybe learn to bat with lower order. But he is not even 22 yet...

And Mulder gets van Tonder with an LBW that looked outside the line!
