Andrew Hall was actually someone who kept screwing us up for a couple of years there. Back when RSA seemed to produce allrounders for fun. The guy finished off a close game with the bat, then bowled and defended something ridiculous like 3 or 4 in the last over and won the game, and then kep wickets the next game after bowling the previous over and got a couple of dismissals as a keeper too in another close game.

Hugely under-rated player. Used to bowl proper hooping reverse swing at the back end.

Hall also made a century opening the batting in a test match in India. He had some serious all-round skills, but was overshadowed by the exploits of the other all-rounders in the South African side at the time.
