Pakistan fans how did you know your team would bat so crap? I've been looking at your batsmen's test averages and a number of guys average over 40, another near it and one more over 50. They are fairly decent test figures yet Pakistani fans have no faith in their batting and their form today says they are right. How come a side that has so many batsmen with decent averages inspires so little confidence?
Don't just go with the stats.

They can't play swing and seam and everyone knew it. Their runs are mainly from flat pitches.

b/c we've been following the team :p

With Pakistan batting it has been a case of "our bowlers get you for a low score and we will score lower" for some time now. They have ALWAYS been suspect against pace and movement but during the last decade they have just hit new lows. Hence the Pakistan fans pessimism (or realistic expectations rather) of their batsmen

That's because most of these batsmen have not played outside of the subcontinent in the last few years.. That's why they have decent averages
Pakistan getting bundled out like this on overseas tours is nothing new...

3rd Test: South Africa v Pakistan at Port Elizabeth, Mar 6-10, 1998 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

1st Test: England v Pakistan at Lord's, May 17-20, 2001 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

1st Test: Australia v Pakistan at Perth, Dec 16-19, 2004 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

3rd Test: South Africa v Pakistan at Cape Town, Jan 26-28, 2007 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

The Pakistan fans know this.

The non Pakistan fans who are more used to their own teams standards get surprised when we get upset with getting the opposition bowled out for 253.

Yes but where is the choke? They lost a game which they were never in a position to win.
It obviously won't be as dramatic as a ODI choke, but in the overall context they shouldn't be losing these games out of nowhere at home. And if you view it session by session then there were a couple of sessions in each of those games where they just collapsed with the ball or mostly with the bat unexpectedly,

I quite like this, sure I wanted to see steyn bowl some more, but smith and alviro doing a good job in demoralising pakistan even more, we will keep the run rate up at least at 4rpo. And HOPEFULLY take the spinners on.

But pakistan not completely out of it, need ajmal magic.
