Whatever it takes!!!
Rizwan is awesome, that is all. :)

And yeah, pretty poor of England to get this tail wag. Surely if you wanna have in-out fields against Rizwan in the first 4 balls of the over, it makes more sense to have a gully than a regulation point fielder in the ring?

That's annoying. They've gone off multiple times when the Pakistan innings has started getting a move on.

Absolute pisstake this like. Don’t help emselves sometimes do they? Unnecessary loss of time, and I doubt they’ll play for the rest of the day. Looks like a draw is on the horizon. Donkeys.

Yes poor that after everything that has gone into getting cricket on we have early finishes like today when I’m sure play is completely possible.

England were poor against Rizwan and the tail, fair play to Rizwan, but there was plenty happening out there and were just defending against him! He’s not Lara in his prime. Just lost the plot, both the skipper and the bowlers.

The ruling on light usedt o be that a reading would be taken on the first day, at the point at which the game was stopped and that would be used throughout the test. But I think rules were amended so that lights could be used in test cricket? Whatever happened to all that?

The first ruling is still in place, a light reading was taken on day one when they went off and that then sets the benchmark for taking the players off whenever it gets to that point again throughout the Test.

The floodlights were supposed to be used to help, but when the artificial lighting took over from the natural lighting they went off, think that’s right? Not sure where we stand with that these days. It didn’t seem too dark today but because of the first day reading they had to go off today. Poor really.

So if artificial lighting takes over from natural light players go off....what is the point of that rule? Completely nonsensical from a sport trying to regain a massively lost audience.

Barring some lollapses, this test is a draw, right? Or is there good enough weather forecast at least now for there to be a result?

As crap as our weather can be there's no way floodlights take over from natural daylight before 6pm however dark it is. Anyway Vaughan wants the pink ball used in all cricket.
