only thing I would consider, not initially but if we keep conceeding too many goals, is to drop either Travis or some other player who can defend back as a flat back Defender rather then a DM and play a back 4. For the time being however, if we control the ball down the other end we should be able to outscore the opposition :).

I agree with the 4 man tactic across the back, but ... I, personally, don't want to play across the back if I can help it. I've played there too often in the past few years to be honest. I want to cement a spot in midfield, albeit if it is defensive, in hope of being able to attack later on in our career.

I say our because I hope we all stick together for atleast a few seasons.

Although, having said this, if it comes to me playing fullback then so be it. I play for the team, and not myself.

:) Go Power.

hopefully you won't need to play straight back then anyways as you've played quite well in that DM role during the pre-season. Ultimately our strikers, in particular myself need to convert more chances when they appear. Let's get on the board early in the official season :).

If we play a back four Kirilov more likely to play as the 4th defender. Having a look at our sides pre-season form our players played their best when they played in their more suited positions. Trav more suited to DM, so his likely to stay there. For the same reason Manju, Andy and Paddy are all likely to start as CM/MF, or in a flat four. We tired Manju at AM and DM, he played his best at MF. We tired Andy at AM and he didn't get a touch. Paddy was also tired at DM, but he didn't impact the game as much.

Very much looking forward to the season ahead. Although I probably won't be around when the matches are actually simmed, I shall look forward to reading the reports when I return later this evening. Been practicising my accuracy over the past week, let's hope it pays off. Go the power :)

Poor start. Ref took a disliking to us, which was a shame. I didn't touch the ball, and i'm very unhappy with that.

Looking to hit the ball hard next game.

I wouldn't worry too much about that match, there were some positives to come out of it. Andy keeps performaning well at his centre midfield position, started the game on fire and then fell away when we went down to ten men. We did dominate parts of the game, but failed to make the most of it. The 2nd half was pretty good performance apart from the late offside goal.

Anyway we going to have to look at trying to not let in so many goals at the start of the game, so we're probably going to start with a bit more defensive formation to start off, then push more players forward as the game goes on.

Anyway Petko Kirilov will come in for Xav Rose and Anton Velasco replaces Orjan Hjelde.
