Alright its that time of the month, time to announce player of the month. This month was very had to choice after we played four brilliant games in a row. We had a bit of a slip in the first match against Swell. Played some really good football against Fury, but had no luck. The we really turned it on against Central , Western and Stallions.

There were some really good performances across the park. The first time this season we didn't really need Blake to keep us in any game, he basically didn't do anything in the last two games, which is a good sign.

The midfield was brillant once again with Andy and Paddy leading the way with some great distribution. Justin also had very good time in the midfield once we gave him more playing time. Manju once again should his versility playing well in dual roles at AM and DM.

The forwards started to find the back of the net, with Thamba slotting home 5 goals in three games and Dave 3 in 3.

But this month the player of month goes to Trav Demeza. Trav was brillant in defense and really took to our new style of football we played this month. He started most of our attack from the back and solid in defense when required. He also provided the assists the important goal against Western, which lead to our 1 nil win. As well as making three teams of the week.

Congrats Trav.

Hopefully the camp improves our team even further and we start heading in the direction of a dynasty :)
It would appear that with everyone except me going to the camp, I will be bench warming a lot in the future as everyone else will have learnt a bunch of sweet moves and i'll be same old same old.

Side to play Swell

GK Blake_Donald
DF Travis_Demeza
DF Xavier_Rose
DF U_Achushtos
DF Paddy_Gundry
DM M_Reddlapalli
MF Justin_Rodgie
MF Andrew_Cloete
MF Ezequiel
FW Thamba_Mamesh
FW David_Comley (c)

Xav a straight swap for me. Paddy drops back into the back 4, to help out our defence against Goughy and Hutch, but mainly due to the style of football we are going to try and play this game. Manju plays DM to add a bit for extra cover, but mainly cus i like having DMs. I will be trying a couple things in the next fives weeks but nothing major, just mainly trying to fast track some guys before they age. We still going all out for the Top 4, but realistically we need Central to drop a couple more games. Two big games coming up in the next couple rounds to see how much we have improved and where we really are.

Also thanks for everyone signing to the training camp, hopefully we will see some rewards. A bit disappointed Andy and Trav couldn't attend but those were the rules.

I actually couldn't attend the camp Tharmi because I was selected for the national team...

Team looks good though and congrats to trav for the player of the month, well deserved. It's been a brilliant month for us and we just need to keep this form going!
