can i also point out the running from Ganguly was PATHETIC...twice Dravid wanted a VERY easy single and Ganguly said no to it.

please someone tell me WHY McGrath is still in the England team? He didnt bowl today which shows the faith they have in his bowling and yet again he failed with the bat. The sooner Pieterson is avaliable and replaces him the better!
Except who will Pietersen replace?

Flintoff for McGrath and then we have a settled batting line up there...

Thats what the selectors are for...at the very worse he can be understudy for when Flintoff is rested / injured as he's more than a handy spinner. Wharfs bowlings hardly impressed me either...he got lucky in his first game but the batsmen are ready for him banging so many balls short of length now and i cant see him doing that well tbh.

Which shows how little of Flintoff you've seen in recent times.

When he's had to battle, he's shown he can do it.
Maybe you have had one too many pints lately, but I was not critising praising Flintoff.

So you are 100% wrong there.

Wow, I went to bed after India's innings and woke up and quickly checked Cricinfo. I am still shocked that they won that game. How ironic that their bowlers were the ones to win it for them.

Something positive to take from the series. Bring on the ICC trophy.

I'd say his bowling is another of the bits and pieces standard...

Except you said it was out of character for him, which like I said, shows how little of him you've WATCHED.

Listening to an interview by BBC Sport with Sourav Ganguly, he said he'd love to come to England every year! Good sign for the continuity of prospering England-India cricketing relations.

Overall, pleasing effort by the bowlers (it was about bloody time wasn't it). With two world class spinners in this Indian side bowling in tandem, our bowling attack looks so much better and really contains more depth.

Nehra bowled well as did Pathan, so that was pleasing to see. Hopefully this trend will continue during the ICC Champions Trophy.

It was a most enjoyable three matches to watch despite India getting hammered all over the park. Flintoff was outstanding, as was Kaif with his fielding and batting. Ganguly brought a smile to my face in the last game as well.

Its no worse than McGraths bowling though, and at least Pieterson started out as a spinner so we know he could at least do a job in turn with Vaughan / Collingwood if we needed to find 10 overs from somewhere.
