Bravo refusing the single was rather odd. Would have brought the equation down to 4 from 2 and Hayden Walsh won a game with the bat last week.

Also, on Hayden Walsh, how many other players have played international cricket in the same year for different teams? Seems a remarkable feat.

It was some quick rise up the ranks as a bowler specifically too. On ODI debut he batted 6 for the USA but was the 7th bowler used and bowled 1 over 0/9. Just sixth months later he was playing an ODI for a Test nation as a specialist bowler, listed to come in at 10.

I must admit hearing Andre Russell was man of the match and man of the tournament in Bangladesh whilst we were losing due to a lack of lower order firepower is very irritating.

Definitely on his way to mercenary status.

Every time he puts on the maroon uniform, the injury gods starts smiling.

He is an asset. I erased moments of his past .
I welcome him in the side. Because I think he can share his wealth of experience to the younger guys.

Yeah, they did that to Chanderpaul because they didn't want him to eclipse Lara's tally of runs.

Chanderpaul was later bestowed with an honorary doctorate by the University of West Indies.

Whatever it takes!!!
I can understand him missing ODIs but playing a T20 league elsewhere when your national team is playing T20Is does not look good. But maybe this is some kind of deal they set up with Russell so that he can get match fit playing in the BPL?

That's the sunny disposition way of looking at it :). I really hope you're right.
