One aspect where the Australian board is way ahead of other cricketing boards is in their social media presence. Cricket Australia is a good handle to follow for every cricket fan. The content they come up with is in line with what the fans generally tend to crave for. It's been like this for a good 3-4 years now afaik.

Something for other boards to look up to and implement.

Still what a story to tell to tell his children someday... "You know we were 5 down and still 60 odd behind and had just 10 overs to get. And the World's best bowler , Cummins was running up to bowl one of his deadly 145 kph bouncers. My mind went blank and everything happened on pure instinct. I swivelled and launched him over fine leg for a 80 meter six. Just another day in office, kanna"

Legend.

Think that account is CA's official communications, rather than the cricket.com.au twitter account which is what you're referring to here. The relationship between CA and that particular account has long been... muddy, particular when that account has been more controversial, but it's a very good follow for cricket fans. Even does updates on international cricket not involving Australia at all, so long as it's stuff that cricket fans might like to see/find interesting.

Yes agree. And they put up these old videos but in excellent HD quality. Their short highlights packages are also well edited.

Are they not under the same umbrella of CA?

Nah they've been next level throughout this series. Sour and angling for absolutely any hint of controversy then can try to sink into. Vaughan the most egregious but far from the only or even the worst offender.

And, look, afaic if you work for these publications you permanently forfeit your right to the moral high ground on any issue, cancers on western society that they are.

Yeah I think it’s from last tour. Plus, the average online Indian fan has really developed a far more sophisticated sense of humour since then...
