I feel like Leach bowled a bit too straight. Not worth attacking the stumps to these two, they're very strong hitting straight and into leg. Could have tried bowling it much wider of offstump and forcing them to either drag it to leg or hit against the turn.

Pant is awesome to watch cos thus far in his career he looks like he dgaf and just bats, which is actually a great approach for a naturally aggressive player to take. Doesn’t second guess himself. It’s great

It does indeed look like madness. Given how Stokes is bowling nowadays, it's hard to believe that he's fully fit. So it looks like Stokes gambled that Anderson, Broad and Potts would blow India away in helpful conditions. Once that didn't quite happen, we were in trouble.

Seamers got tired and pressure was on India, so he laid the bait and hoped to get something from it. Didn't work.

Maharaj and Shamsi got the better of Pant in the recent T20I series so it can be done, I think they just bowled the wrong lines

It’s good to see Potts get the toweling up his bowling actually deserves. He’s a bit of a non-event tbh

Guess he had to justify the praise the press has been heaping on him w.r.t. making Leach feel "included". Poor captaincy though, just crying out for slaughter against someone like Pant.
