Interview with Coach Shastri:

So the 4-1 scoreline does not bother you, does not affect you as a coach?

No, not all. We are still the No.1 team in the world. And England know how well we fought. Their media knows how well we fought. Our fans know how well we fought. Their public knows how well we fought. We know inside how well we fought.

'Last one to press the panic button when I see so many positives' - Ravi Shastri - ESPNcricinfo

Can you imagine Australia or South Africa being comfortable coming back from England with a 1-4 scoreline?
That's pathetic. Do you think Australia were in any way satisfied losing in India in 2001? **** no, they treated it as a disaster.

You need your share of luck. And when you weigh the factors - every time India batted it had to be cloudy, every time England batted the sun was out. But that is not an excuse.
This guy's a clown. Sooner we get a real coach the better.

Yeah Taylor only made two scores of 50 or more in professional cricket. They were actually both at Test level, but all the same.

Yeah when looking at the stats Taylor does eclipse Saqlain in ****ness. Think they're clearly the worst two to manage tons.

Gillespie obviously the worst to hit a double. Triple?

Worst to hit a triple in FC? Jadeja springs to mind but instinctively feel there must have been someone worse in the long corridor of history.

Abul Hasan?
Yeah I thought of him, he's probably next most horrible, but he's definitely better than Jerome was IMO. Runs are easier to come by in Bangladesh domestic cricket than the WI stuff during Jerome's career, but he has passed 50 ten times in pro cricket to Taylor's two, as well.
