*Official* India Tour of Australia 2018/19

State Vice-Captain
Shaun Marsh deservedly getting criticism but in terms of senior bats, Khawaja been the bigger disappointment for mine.

Only one significant innings this series, barely making more of an impact than Marsh. By this stage of his career he should be doing much more.
Without the banned duo you lot really needed khawaja , handscomb maybe and marsh to average at least 40 and the likes of Finch who have never played test cricket to give decent starts. Predicated on a lot of variables

I like Kuldeep. He bowls a pace that most international bowlers haven't bowled for decades. Nice and slow, no wonder it fools our batsmen.

My boy Kuldeep with good figures so far. Very happy to see him getting picked. Can be very good prospect for India in tests too.

Just for the record, he averaged 49.72 in the next 11 years playing 95 tests.
Yep - still a really good second half career, but in context this was when almost every top bat was averaging 50+, often 55+. Had a terrible last couple of years post WC too.

There shouldn’t be a Sachin vs Dravid discussion because Sachin was clearly a superior batsman. To suggest that it’s only because of longevity and if he’d retired 10 years earlier - technically when Sachin was far above his peers - Dravid might be considered better is sheer lunacy.

Paine should have hit that on the full but the way his footwork went made it impossible, needed to move the front foot more towards the ball.

The wealth of good bowling options India has now is staggering given the situation just a couple of years ago.

Not how one wants an Oz tour to end. Wish Harris had got a ton and Head an 80 odd. Hate to see Cummins taxed so much.
