I'd assume it's to minimise the number of bubbles they have to set up. Paarl is within driving distance of Cape Town so they can remain based there, although that doesn't explain why they're not playing at Newlands.

Yeah Newlands has got Final ODI. Two ODIs in Paarl seem a bit too much.

Both the Iyers are good fielders.but yeah apart from them and Kohli, not much.

Shreyas Iyer has always been a poor catcher. Have seen him drop plenty in IPl. Venky has a small sample size but saw him misfield one earlier at point costed 4 runs. Our 2011 WC side had many oldies but they were not this bad.

Chahal is such a harmless leggie. No googly, no flipper. Duly outbowled by Bishnoi in VHT but still not backed.

Look at the last over.. Bavuma is barely picking anything from the hand & even Pant behind the stump is saying that. Rubbish bowler Chahal. Just mediocre.

The funny thing is, Kuldeep is the one who deserved a longer rope and more confidence from the management. Chahal is getting all the support in the world despite looking toothless.

I don't think Chahal is a bad bowler but he isn't in top 2-3 out of all the options that we have.

This was easily a 220-230 pitch.. They will score over par thanks to a toothless attack. Upto batters now to deliver.

Prasidh Krishna in sheds & watching Boovi Kumar trundling.. Depressing state of Indian bowling. Won't be surprised we deliver another mediocre performance in next world cup. Dravid ain't lasting long I think.
