*****, this venue is owned by Cricket West Indies...because it's proximity to the airport, it's used as a training facility

India A won easily in the end, bowling West Indies A out for 124.

Ahmed got 3, Axar Patel 2, Washington Sundar 2 and the leggie 2 (forgotten his name).

Basically, the pitch was dreadful, very very slow, kept low, stopped on the batsmen. Shreyas Iyer was the only batsman that came to terms with it, with honourable mentions to Vihari, Carter and Powell.

Was great to see Rakheem dismissing Vihari with a classic off spinners dismissal. He heat him on the outside edge with an arm ball, was hot for 6, then got him bowled through the gate. He's definitely our best spinner.

Also pleased with the seamers. Jordan and Shepherd both bowled very tidily. Chase was refreshingly aggressive as captain, giving Cornwall 2 slips. Holder would have never done that.

Managed to watch bits of today's match but was slightly distracted by events at Lord's and the tennis.

India A won easily again on a better pitch for batting. Gaekwad caught the eye with the bat with a skilful half century and Saini got 5 wickets and had a very quick 3 over spell where he bounced out Powell and then bowled Dowrich with a reverse swinging yorker.

For us, Reifer got a sensible 70, Cornwall again bowled well, bowling Panday with an arm ball and coming back nicely after getting hit around a bit early on.

Romario Shepherd looks like he's worth a look at ODI level. He bowlers lovely outswingers with the new ball, back of a length leg cutters in the middle and excellent yorkers at the end to take 4 economical wickets

After 35 overs it's 172/3

Gill was superb before inside edging a good delivery from Cornwall. Shreyas Iyer also looked good before holing out to long on (he was beaten in flight by Cornwall). The other opener Amnol was bounced out by Romario Shephard for 0.

Cornwall bowled 10 overs and took 2/37. He really looks an excellent spinner, beating both the inside and outside edges and never going for much more than 4 per over.

Romario Shepherd continues to impress with his seam bowling/outswingers.

So far I'd definitely say Cornwall and Shepherd are ready for some ODI experience. No-one else though.

Great yorker by Romario Shepard to get Manish Pandey out. Great innings by Pandey....should fill the void in the middle order. Ishan Kishan is such a hack.

who maintains the cricket grounds in the Caribbean? is there something with the climate/soil causing this, or are they just being mishandled?
I believe some of the newer ones were built by the chinese government including this one. I believe it was part of a larger effort for them to gain a footprint into the carribean. Anways, shady geo politics and debt colonialism aside, WIC now runs it but has done a bad job....the only times I have seen this ground get a sizeable crowd is when the Poms visit.
