*Official* English Football Season 2013-14

You'll Never Walk Alone
It was all about Rodgers' system. First half, no genuine holding midfielder, Villa dominate the game and can get good balls in. Second half, Lucas on for Coutinho (and then Allen replaced him), Gerrard is pushed up into CM, we dominate. Absolute turd decision from Rodgers to line up that way originally, and cost us the match. Have no flipping idea why he did it either, particularly after we've dominated matches playing with 3 good ball winning midfielders.

What's the deal with Fat Sam jizzing over Andy Carroll's return? Must be the worst example ever of a player's reputation growing while out injured. First thing he did when he came on last week was shin the ball into touch, standard.

TBF Carroll is the kind of player that BFS wanks over*: tall, English, "uncomplicated", combative, northern regional accent, can trap a ball further than most players can kick it...

*Or would were that withered, shrunken member of his able to maintain tumescence.

All about trying to accommodate Suarez and Sturridge isn't it? Tough one to determine I guess. He'd be a brave man to not play both.

Some pretty awesome goals yesterday around Europe. Juventus netted a couple of screamers. Started with this one from Vidal:

Then Pogba provided this:

Cazorla's goal was very nice too:

And a pretty handy effort from a little known Real Madrid winger. Think his name is Cristiano Ronaldo. Looks a handy player.

Not as bad as his miss yesterday

Anyway, we can end the season today with Palace at the dizzy height of 16th place. Nice birthday treat for me yesterday, even though I'm not sure we'll stay there. I think Poyet and OGS will do good jobs at their new clubs, so Pulis needs to keep up the good work. Fulham, West Ham and ANOther going down imo.

EDIT
Just read Brumby's comment on BFS wrt Carroll. Not a pleasant thought on any conceivable level.

Stan Collymore getting racist abuse and death threats on twitter for saying on radio that Suarez dived. Some fans aren't right in the head.

Battle for 4th this season looks like it should actually deliver for a change. Assuming Man U pull back the deficit, nice little 4 way battle going on for it, with a 3 horse race for the title ahead of that, though I expect City to win comfortably tbh

In old days you would think United could come back, not now. Damage limitation exercise here if Chelsea go for it. Knowing Mourinho he will stick at 2-0 though.

This is getting quite funny, these goals are so soft. Oh and Moyes brings on Smalling, that will get them back in it:laugh:
