How cool that former Wimbledon finalist Malavi Washington is playing or the BCCI Board XI

Whatever it takes!!!
Washington Sundar continues to impress though. Really wish his batting comes along, need a left handed hitter/spinner in our LO line ups, now that Jadeja seems to have given up trying to be any sort of a batsman in the LO arena.

Pat Cummins is bowling too - which means he's fit. So, Richardson should be dropped from first ODI squad.
Agar has out-bowled Zampa - which makes things interesting too.

Head, Maxwell, Stoinis can easily bowl 20 overs among themselves in Indian conditions (Smith's decision to not bowl Maxwell in this match is ITSTL). In that case, Australia needs 3 specialist bowlers. I'd go for Cummins-NCN and Agar/Zampa - maybe Agar because of his batting. Faulkner can be dropped imo because Indian batsmen have routinely bossed him.

Cummins really isn't a very good OD bowler. Allthe more reason why he shouldn't be in this squad.

Smith has refused to bowl Maxwell in ODIs (meanwhile bowling Travis Head constantly) for the last year.

Looking at the Aus squad, they are going to have a surplus of bowling options regardless of who they pick. Probably could have sent an extra batsman (eg. Handscomb) if they were really paying attention when picking the squad

And what do you know just announced that Handscomb is flying over as cover. Hopefully he is ahead of Cartwright in the pecking order at least when it comes to selection.
