We'll probably get rekt with such a young team, but I guess Sattherwaite struggled in the World Cup so we kinda know what this will look like.

That's a good question! It looks like their men's team (along with a few other Caribbean nations) played in the Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games in 1998 (which only had List A status).

It looks like these games will all have official T20I status, despite it being Barbados rather than West Indies.
Huh.

I guess, strictly speaking, "England" in the Commonwealth Games is different to the usual England too.

England the cricketing nation usually represents England and Wales, but yer Leekists have their own squad in the commonwealths.

Moot point though as I don't think we had any Taffettes (Tafferines?) in our line up v RSA recently.

thanks

no van Niekerk (as remarked elsewhere by @StephenZA ) and Andrie Steyn also missing out, I guess for not really having the shots for T20

She might be an option in the future, but so far she's only played a handful of T20s and hasn't done much in those. I think Bosch is likely to open even though she doesn't have much experience doing that either, but she offers an additional bowling option, which may be why they've gone for her rather than Brits, who was probably the other one in the running to replace Lee.
