Strong bowling and good batting depth thanks to Akram and Marshall in lower order. Batting has greats like Greenidge and Jones. Also have arguably the best ODI rounder. Adequate unit. Could have been better - Boon, Hooper and Mushtaq are bit of weak links.

That's a great bowling unit.

Two aggressive openers to set the scene for the batting talent to follow. Ambrose and Walsh are proven performers with impressive economy rates as well as the ability to take wickets. Kumble, Hogg, Waugh and Shastri all have economy rates under 5 and are solid performers. For added variety, Sehwag and Chanderpaul give the bowling attack a good spread. Plenty of spinning options.

A number of world cup and WT20 winning players in the side. A lot of excellent captaincy material players there too. Aggressive openers, batsmen who can bat long in the middle order, and guys who can go berserk at the death in the lower order. Wrist spin, finger spin, traditional swing, reverse swing, good pace, medium pace back up - the bowling attack has all the tools a captain would need in most ODI pitches around the world. Not my best effort but definitely had fun drafting this side and I think I ended up getting a much better side than I thought I would.

Fast scoring openers. A middle order full of century-making guns. Five legit bowlers including Hadlee & Bond as the spearheads. Great hitting depth with Oram & Hadlee too.

I love Afridi and have him in my second ATG ODI team. Him being taken only in Round 10 makes me sad.

He was capable of playing some superb knocks down the order. Wait ... I should have picked him. May be didn't come up high when I sorted by batting average
I think he played a bit past his peak, hence the lower average, but during his peak he was a fantastic ODI bat.
