Non-permanent world team for Cricket

I strongly hope that a new team is added to Cricket -- a team like Barbarian FC in Rugby Union.
Cricket's Baa-Baas play a memorial ODI match against the winners of T20 World Cup and memorial Test against the winners of ODI World Cup.

Who actually plays for Barbarians?
Schedules permitting (you'd hope the world cricket community would enable this) but should be made up of the best ranked batsmen and bowlers not from the World Champion team. Some leeway to get specialists i.e. the best spinner may not be in the top 5 bowlers, the best openers might not be in the top 6 or so bats.

Something like this was trialled years ago, an ICC World XI played an ODI Series and a Test against Australia.

The Aussies won each match.

Yep, it didn't even draw much fan attention.

However, I think that the ICC is better at marketing these days so could be worth a go. WTC winners face off against the best of the rest 3 test series. Or ODI WC winners face off against a best of the rest in a 3-match ODI series etc.
