Talented but inconsistent. Could blow up or could fade out.
Used a late first to draft him, got 3 years of play from him and then got late first round value for him. Good deal for us. Don't know why the hell Arizona didn't go for AJ Brown instead though.

Not enough cap space or draft capital for AJ Brown. Kyler wanted Hollywood, they’re best friends and were great together in college.
It looks good for the Ravens to me too. Not quite as good for us but still not bad. The problem isn’t so much the deal itself as the fact that we’re getting so little value out of the draft year after year. Ended up in cap hell with a quality QB on a rookie deal.

pretty happy with getting pickett in our lap at twenty fwiw, would've taken any of pickett, willis, or ridder on pure proviso that we didn't have to trade up to get a new qb in the setup and that's how it worked out! glorious days, and pickens is an excellent receiver to boot imho
Yeah he's pretty inconsistent, had a tendency to go big in some games and be invisible in others. Think that can at least partly be explained by how he was matching up against opposing corners given he is insanely small by NFL standards. More than serviceable as no.2 behind DHop and our passing scheme isn't great so maybe he could breakout in a better system.
