Yeah imagine if, in rugby, any player who knocks the ball on or throws a forward pass is sent off the field for the remainder of the match. That would be about the equivalent mental pressure to what a batsman has to face up to.

The Australian and Indian teams play a lot of cricket throughout the year, yet I am waiting to hear complaints about too much cricket taking a toll on them mentally. Maybe they just don't discuss it open in public.

Always felt Dhoni to be a popular candidate for such things, yet he seems to have a tolerance level of a buddhist monk.
