Least effective bowler in cricket

a massive zebra

International Captain
SR of 121. Wow. And he took 100+ wickets!
Carl Hooper's role was to hold an end up while the pace bowlers rested. An economy rate of below 2.5 testifies to the fact that he generally did that fairly successfully with his accurate non spinning off breaks.

Victor Ian

International Coach
I was just watching that footage of Broad up above and one thing struck me. The English like to say that scores should be stated as runs/wickets and act all superior about this, but then they state the individual bowlers stats as wickets/runs so it seems the Aussies have been right all along.
