Cricketer Of The Year
Ok, so this one is a fairly crazy idea for a draft, but it promises to be fun and unique.
The premise for the draft is quite simple:
- Each player, upon joining the draft, will post an XI comprised of whomever they wish to choose (there is no limitation on who you can choose other than they must have, at least, played First Class cricket. You may wish to choose an XI of ATGs or an XI of one-Test wonders, it all depends on your strategy.)
- Once everyone has submitted their XI, all of the players will be thrown into the "kitty" and the draft will begin. By the end of the draft, each and every player in the kitty will have been selected.
- The draft will run on a regular basis, with RNG draft orders in play from rounds 1 - 10. Round 11 will be a free-for-all. 10 hour time limits + vote at the end.
- The idea is to choose a balanced side for the kitty. For example, an XI made up of just bowlers and no 'keeper would be frowned upon. We want this to be a fair draft with everyone participating actually able to select a balanced XI in the end.
If there are any questions, please fire away. I'm also open to potentially tweaking some of the rules if anyone can spot a flaw here.
So, who's down like Freddie Brown?
