And bowling is the most impactful discipline for one player. It's a mighty close one.

That batting of Kallis needs a couple of more ">" signs but I do think you are underrating Jadeja's fielding a bit. If not the best, Jadeja is at least among the top 3 best fielders in the world currently and is at worst, equal to Kallis's fielding.

Overall, just the batting of Kallis beats Jadeja's all-round potential in all 3 disciplines.

I think he means more Kallis fields in the slips so is more valuable. Jadeja is a GOAT ring/outer fielder though but not quite as important in tests I suppose.

Yeah Kallis rates much higher on the batting list than Jadeja would on any bowling list.

Also while Jadeja is an amazing outfielder, in tests slip fielding is just infinitely more critical, so yeah, Kallis still wins there quite easily as well.
