I think Miller was at least as good as Davidson
No

Miller claimed the bulk of his wickets in Australia, England, West Indies and South Africa which are traditionally favourable conditions for fast bowling.

Alan Davidson proved his mettle on subcontinental pitches as well. He took 44 wickets in 10 matches in Asia at an outstanding average of 17 and an economy rate of just 1.81. His performances included an all-time great away series which was dominated by spinners

I think Davidson was easily better

West Indies in the time was dubbed the graveyard of fast bowlers.
Yeah, the Caribbean was as flat as England and Australia were from '24 to '48.

It wasn't nearly a bowlers paradise.

is this a joke statement? because Miller blows Jadeja away.
Both are at same level buddy! Miller didn’t even bowled early on in his career. And subcontinent wasn’t even a challenge back then because they were minnow nations. Jadeja has double his wickets.

Miller bowled in the so-called "Victory Tests" in 1945 after WWII.
He made his FC debut in the late 30s before the outbreak of WWII. The fact that he was selected as a batsman meant he had limited or no opportunities to bowl in his early FC career.
When he played his first Test for Bradman's "Invincibles" he was in his late 20s. Imagine what his figures might have been without the 6 year break caused by the war.

Who knows - he may have played a specialist batsmen with the likes of O’Reilly and Lindwall leading the attack.

He bowled and was much less condition dependent than Jadeja who isn't a sureshot selection outside Asia.

Will see what happens tomorrow with the rough, but he's mostly useless away from home with the ball tbh.
