We need to beat Scots and Namibians by comical margins and hope for Afghans winning against NZ.

If the above happens, then lmao.

Whatever it takes!!!
So the equation has been extremely simplified now.

Afg beat NZ - India just has to beat Namibia by similar margin and they will go through to face England.
NZ beat Afg - NZ go through to semis to face England.

The less likely scenario, of course, of India losing to Namibia also exists.

Feel for Scotland. Not a proponent of subjecting these teams to such humiliation on the biggest stages if they aren't going to be exposed to a steady drip of top-flight competition through the year.

Now for AFG to do us a solid.

People overstate the significance of losing a T20 world cup match with nearly 14 overs left to play IMO. It happens to the best of us.

We can simplify it to just one scenario...the bolded above...as soon as India lost to NZ, they were out and all the beating up on minnows isn't going to change that...
